All the little things

Happy Sunday!  Second week of Advent today and the season is looking Merry and Bright!  Today from the 7 Kids College Fund, I've colored this ADORABLE Wee image called Candle Light!  YES!!!  7 Kids is carrying some of the Wee images again!  YEAH!  I adore Wee images!  So sweet and adorable!  You CAN'T go wrong!
There is still a few days left in the challenge for you to join us and play along for a chance to win a $20.00 gift certificate so don't miss this opportunity to play along and I'll visit your blog and leave you some crafty love!

I've created this card by tracing the outside of the large Majestic die in white stock, cutting the die itself from the design paper and folding the card in half long ways.  The Majestic Square die has a nested square with rounded corners that I popped up on the card.  The Majestic die set has that lovely little die I used on the top of the focal point, the little flowers on the left edge and the sentiment circle are both from the Darling Square die set.  These two larger die set work so beautifully together!  A few little accents like sequins and crystals and voila!  the project is done!
 INGREDIENTS:

MEDIUMS:
Copic Ink
Ranger Distress Ink Faded Jeans
EMBELLISHMENTS:

Joy with TLC

A quick project today full of color and a bit of seasonal touch!  I chose two of the birds on the NEW Peaceful Dove Edge Die from LDRS Creative!  Also, the little JOY sentiment is from the seasonal Winter Cheer Sentiment collection sold only through HSN!

I started covering my chipboard initials several months ago with the L.  Today, I decided to decorate the T!  Some of the cutest washi tape with some flowers, die cuts and Jewels and it's complete!  In the background I used one of the small dies in the Majestic Frame die set.

INGREDIENTS:
MEDIUMS:
Memento Black ink

EMBELLISHMENTS:
WOC flowers

Making My Day

I hope all of you crafty people in the U.S. enjoyed the Thanksgiving Holiday?  We spent the day at Frankenmuth village with loads of Christmas decor and music going on.  Chicken dinner with all the fixings served AND cleaned up with no effort on my part!

Today's project is a decorated DVD holder.  I've burned some family video that was taken throughout the year to share as stocking stuffers for some relatives we don't get to visit with often throughout the year as a way they can share in the special moments with us.

The stamp is from 7 Kids College Fund in the Gorjuss section, called " The Lost Heart".  She's just the sweetest little girl with her teddy bear!  These girls are DARLING!   And so easy to color up too!

Some of the die work is the Gilded Doily, Majestic Square.  The papers are from Gorjuss and these pads come with cut out frames, corners and some perfect circles for sentiments as I used here.  Simply coordinated for that perfect look!

There are still a few weeks to join the Challenge and the opportunity to win $20 to the store where you can get one of these cutie pies yourself so join us!

Money Gift Card for the Holidays!

Good Sunday to you!  The Holidays are approaching so quickly that I'm loosing track of the time!  I've got to get going on my card making and gifts!  Today's money gift holder is just the first of many to come this year.  Usually I make at least 10 of these because I've got so many friends and family members that are really hard to buy for!  Know what I mean??  Either they've got everything generally needed or getting they're size and color selection down is impossible.

Anyway, I digress.   Today I got crafty with some great design paper, dies, chipboard and illustrations to make a super simple gift card project.  I distressed the chipboard bird house then put some Wink of Stella on it for a glossy look. The Peaceful Dove Edge was cut and distressed as well.  Placed in the center with pop dots for some lift and dimension then spatter brushed with Snowtex for texture.  The illustration was watercolored with distress ink too!  The Weatheredwood color was perfect for the tree on the image as well as the die cut and it brought in a great color tone with the reds from the paper!  By the way, I embossed the paper with the Majestic embossing folder and sanded it down for that softening and mellowed out look of age.

The inside of the card, I used the smaller center piece of the Majestic Frame Die set to give it contrast and design to the pocket for the gift.

There's still time to join the November Anything Goes-Christmas challenge where you too could be the winner of a $20.00 gift certificate to the store!

Joy filled Quickly!

Happy Saturday!  Welcome to a Joy filled project I made SUPER QUICKLY  It's got texture, contrast, shine and even a new technique for me!  You can watch for yourself how quickly this project gets assembled on the LDRS Creative You Tube channel very soon, so be sure to stop in for a visit.  There are always dozens of things to learn and play along with on this channel!

This project was an average A2 size card cut from Neenah white stock, a bit of vellum striped shiny paper cut 1/4" smaller than A2 and then some soft red Maja Christmas paper that was first embossed then sanded for added texture and design.  The Pear Tree Partridge die cut was popped up into the cente and I used a bit of Silver shiny wash tape across the bottom.  I stamped the Joy sentiment onto a Majestic label die cut and that's it!  The card takes about 10 minutes total!!  Elegant, contrasting and design full of texture!  Love these makes and the products!

INGREDIENTS:

MEDIUMS:
Stampendous emboss powder
Versa marker pen
Memento Black ink

EMBELLISHMENTS:
Maja dp "A Gift for you"
DCWV foiled vellum
shimmer trim silver

I added some Wink of Stella silver to the leaves of the tree, the bow and a crystal in the eye of the Partridge to bring the project together after the filming of the project.

7Kids College Fund November Christmas Challenge

Happy Tuesday! Today starts a new monthly challenge on the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog

The theme is: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS

My card features this adorable winter filled scene of little forest critters!  The stamp is called Savior Window and it leaves me with such a wonder filled heart!  I just LOVE it, and 7 Kids College Fund has great SALE prices on the Art Impressions line!   Stamped on Cryogen paper and colored with my Copics. I added some of the Neat and Tangled tiny little sequins to the tree with bulbs on it to add some color to the project and it turned out to be just enough color.
 INGREDIENTS:
Gilded Doily Die

The large blue frame around my card was made using LDRS Creative Majestic Frame Die. I cut the nested die too from the image paper to pop up the scene. My papers are from Authentique. A bit of Ranger Distress Faded Jeans around the edges and the scene moved right into the card colors!  The Gilded Oval was die cut then split in half and shared up onto each side of the focal point for added texture and color.

MEDIUMS:
Faded Jeans Distress Ink
Copic ink B00,B02,04,05, C00,1,3

EMBELLISHMENTS:
WOC flowers
RRR Thread
Ivory Liquid Pearls

Supplies from 7 Kids College Fund Store
Now head on over to the 7 Kids College Fund Challenge Blog to play along with us so you can win a $20 Gift Certificate to the store.

I Believe . . . Do You?

Happy Sunday all! I'm sharing my latest card for 7 Kids College Fund.  Yes!  I'm back with the NEW 7Kids Store and I'm LOVING it!  I'ts going to give me a reason to post weekly again and be sure to step away from the graphic, die and stamp designing for a few hours and believe you me, I need to stay inky and crafty!  lol

Before I get to my card, I want to remind you that you still have a few more days to enter our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge on Challenge Blog! Be sure to link up for a chance at winning a $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids College Fund Store!!
I decided to step away from coloring with this project!  NO coloring!!! I decided to stencil with paste, emboss stamp and use several fabulous dies I've recently designed that you can find in the 7 kids College Fund Store!

Just dies, stencil, decorative chipboard, a bit of clay work, feathers and patterned paper. The stamp is from Stampendous called Cling Snowy Postcard which I embossed in blue.  The sentiment is from the Merry Christmas HSN exclusive collection.  The chipboard is from Wycinanka, which I've fallen hard for!  lol  And the stencil is by Tim Holtz!

I cut the Peaceful Dove Edge die 3 times, once in grey toned paper, once in kraft for the branches and once again for the Doves in white.  Layered them and then rubbed them with Deco Arts Snowtex giving it a great sense of a snowy night.

INGREDIENTS:
Studio Calico Wood Venier Birds
Wycinanka clock chipboard

MEDIUMS:
Ranger Distress Ink: Vintage Photo, Faded Jeans
Copic ink R29 on birds
Faber-Castell Copper Texture Luxe

EMBELLISHMENTS:
Stickles
Snowtex
Natural Jule Ribbon Boutique
Petaloo Pins
Martha Stewart clay leaf mold
Studio pearls
Really Reasonable Ribbon twine
Now, be sure to head over to the 7 Kids College Fund Store to check out all the amazing products you can purchase to add to your crafty collection!
